Adopt-A-School Golf Tournament Brings Together Community for 34th Year

The 34th Annual Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa Adopt-A-School Golf Tournament is in the books! On Sept. 19, businesses and schools came together to support education in West Alabama at the Ol’ Colony Golf Complex.
Harrison Construction emerged as the overall tournament winner, securing the 1st Place Net title and earning $500 for their designated school, Rock Quarry Elementary.
Verner Elementary School was awarded $500 for having the most golfers represent an elementary school, while Holt High School and Tuscaloosa County High School tied for the most golfers to represent a secondary school. Both schools will receive $250 each.
In addition, Linden Elementary was the lucky winner of a random drawing and will receive $500.

This annual tournament serves as a key fundraiser for the Adopt-A-School program, which fosters partnerships between local businesses and schools to support students and educators.
