Adopt-A-School Welcomes Hale County Middle School Through New Partnership
July 29, 2025
The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama is proud to announce the newest addition to the Adopt-A-School program: Hale County Middle School, through its partnership with Alabama ONE Credit Union.
“We are proud to partner with Hale County Middle School as part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities we serve,” said Megan Roakes, Events Officer at Alabama ONE. “We are committed to working alongside the school to support the staff, students, and parents to make a positive impact.”
While Alabama ONE has supported the school in the past, this marks their first year as an official Adopt-A-School partnership—strengthening their shared commitment to education and community enrichment. Through this collaboration, the two organizations will implement several initiatives aimed at benefiting the entire school community.
“We are thrilled for our Adopt-A-School partnership with Alabama ONE Credit Union,” said Katie Andoe, Assistant Principal at Hale County Middle School. “We cannot wait for all of the great things this will bring to our school and community. Thank you for this opportunity!”
Planned efforts include monthly leadership awards for students, teachers, and parents; classroom supply support and teacher appreciation treats; and hosting financial literacy sessions during the school’s Back-to-School Rally. Additionally, Hale County Middle School educators will continue to have access to Alabama ONE’s Banzai online financial literacy program, which provides free, ready-to-use lesson plans, interactive tools, and classroom resources.
