
Alabama Secretary of Workforce Greg Reed, Local Superintendents to Speak at West Alabama Education and Workforce Conference Feb. 19

Presented by Caldwell Architects and Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. and hosted by The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama and West AlabamaWorks, FutureFocus: West Alabama Education and Workforce Conference will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The University of Alabama’s Bryant Conference Center on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
FutureFocus will be broken into two sessions: Education and Workforce.
The education session will kick off the event, featuring Tuscaloosa City Schools Superintendent Dr. Mike Daria and Tuscaloosa County Schools Superintendent Dr. Keri C. Johnson.
After lunch is served, the workforce session featuring Alabama’s new Department of Workforce Secretary Greg Reed will commence.

FutureFocus aims to bring together the audiences of the Chamber’s Education Summit and West AlabamaWorks’ Talent Conference in a joint event. The two sessions will explore the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in education and workforce development across West Alabama.
