BankFirst Adopts Four More Schools in Fayette County
March 29, 2024
Four new Adopt-A-School partnerships have formed between BankFirst and the following schools in Fayette County: Berry High School, Fayette Elementary School, Fayette Middle School and Hubbertville School.
"We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with BankFirst. This partnership will allow our students and community many opportunities that may not otherwise be available without these partnerships," said Hubbertville School Principal Tim Dunavant.
At the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, BankFirst adopted Fayette County High School, which marked the first Adopt-A-School partnership formed in Fayette County.
In partnership with all five schools, BankFirst plans to offer financial literacy for students and parents, guest speakers and volunteers for various school events, and job shadowing activities for the high school students. BankFirst will also provide incentives for teacher appreciation, Student of the Month, perfect attendance, honor roll, and improved grades and behavior.
“At BankFirst, we believe in the importance of education and community support. That’s why we proudly support the Adopt-A-School programs in the Fayette County School District,” said BankFirst State President Heyward Gould. “Together, we’re investing in our children’s future and fostering a brighter tomorrow for West Alabama – one classroom at a time."
BankFirst is also partnered with Cottondale Elementary in the Tuscaloosa County School District.
