Chamber Elects New Board Members and 2025 Officers

Business and community leaders from a diverse range of backgrounds have been elected to serve terms on the Board of Directors of The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.
Joining the board as new directors are Chris Crawford of TTL, Inc.; Wade Dailey of Regions Bank; Terrance Dedrick of Dedrick Wealth Management Group of Raymond James; Richard Harwood of Harwood Real Estate; Sam Phillips of Allstate Insurance; and Jill Stork of Alabama Power Company.
Elected to return to the board for a second three-year term are Anwar Aiken of The Grand Event Design & Décor; Mary Virginia Best of b. the best day spa; Sydney Burns of Lou & Co.; David DuBose of Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa; Carrie Fitts of Carrie Fitts Real Estate; Chip Fuqua of Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc.; Lee Garrison of The Frazier Lanier Company; Heyward Gould of BankFirst; Jennifer Hart of Paragon HM Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley; Joe Hughes of L&H Contractors, Inc.; Tony Johnson of Pylon Professionals LLC; Tim Lewis of TALA Professional Services; Luke Remmert of Remmert & Company; and Llevelyn Rhone of Hale County Chamber of Commerce.
Each director will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2025.
The Chamber’s Board of Directors has also elected its leadership team for 2024. Carl Jamison of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC will serve as chair of the Board of Directors. Heyward Gould of BankFirst will serve as Chair-Elect. Joining Jamison and Gould on the Executive Committee is outgoing Board chair Jheovanny Gomez of Jalapenos Restaurants; Anwar Aiken of The Grand Event Design & Décor; Alyson Baxter of The University of Alabama; Bobby Bragg of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC; Chip Fuqua of Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc.; Lee Garrison of The Frazier Lanier Company; Chris Gunter of Buffalo Rock - Pepsi; Blake Madison of Rosen Harwood; Jordan Morris of Ward Scott Morris Architecture; David Pass of The Sealy Companies; Kelsey Rush of Visit Tuscaloosa; Kyle South of The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama; and Jill Stork of Alabama Power Company.
