DCH Fayette Medical Center Joins Fayette Elementary School as Newest Adopt-A-School Partner

The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama’s Adopt-A-School program is proud to announce a new partnership between DCH Fayette Medical Center and Fayette Elementary School.
Through this new partnership, DCH Fayette Medical Center will focus on recognizing Fayette Elementary’s faculty and staff every other month, while also providing volunteers for Read Across America Week and additional school events throughout the year.
“DCH Fayette Medical Center is proud and excited to partner with Fayette Elementary School through the Adopt-A-School program,” said Dr. Wendi Parminter, Director of Volunteer Services and Wellness at DCH Health System. “This collaboration reflects our deep commitment to supporting education, investing in our community’s future, and helping students grow and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.”
In the spring, DCH plans to bring its signature career awareness event to the school. Designed to be both educational and engaging, this event will introduce students to various medical professions while helping alleviate fears about visiting the doctor or hospital by creating a fun and welcoming learning environment.
DCH Fayette Medical Center joins current adopter BankFirst (Fayette Branch) in supporting the school’s evolving needs and enhancing the educational experience for both students and educators.
