December 4, 2018
Governor Kay Ivey has reappointed Jim Page, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama, to the Board of Directors of the Alabama Partnership for Children.
Alabama Partnership for Children, or Smart Start, was formed in 2000 to improve services, streamline coordination, and maximize available resources for Alabama’s children. Focuses include early care and education, parent resources, Smart Start partnerships, public awareness, and system planning and development.
The Alabama Partnership for Children fulfills a critical role in delivering opportunities for our state’s children to succeed, and I am honored to be asked to serve,” Page said. “I greatly appreciate Governor Ivey’s trust in me and I will continue to advocate for the great work done by the APC.”
