Local Organizations, Businesses Commit to Work with Individuals with Disabilities
September 13, 2017
The State of Alabama has a 9% employment rate of people with disabilities compared to the national average of 19% (NCI, 2016). Below are businesses in Tuscaloosa and surrounding counties that support the employment of people with disabilities by offering their facility as an employment training site or have hired people with disabilities in part-time or full-time positions. We wanted to recognize their commitment to working with people with disabilities as we strive for a more inclusive community.
