August 12, 2025
The Adopt-A-School program has welcomed Remmert & Company as the newest partner of Tuscaloosa County High School, creating a collaboration aimed at connecting students with real-world career insights and opportunities to support their future success.
“At Tuscaloosa County High School, we believe that strong schools build strong communities,” school officials said in a statement. “Through the Adopt-A-School program, our partnership with Remmert & Company will create meaningful opportunities for our students—supporting academic success, career readiness and personal growth. We appreciate Remmert & Company’s dedication to investing in the future by supporting local education. By partnering with Tuscaloosa County High School, they will give back to the community and help develop the next generation of leaders, innovators and professionals. We encourage other businesses and organizations to join the Adopt-A-School initiative, as involvement can make a lasting impact not just in a school, but throughout the entire community.”
As part of the partnership, Remmert & Company will provide guest speakers to discuss career pathways and industry experiences, assist students in developing employability skills, and host plant tours to offer a behind-the-scenes look at its operations. The company will also sponsor incentives for the school’s ‘student of the month’ program, helping recognize and celebrate outstanding student achievement.
“I’m truly excited for Remmert & Company to partner with Tuscaloosa County High,” said Barry Strozier, executive vice president of engagement and development for Remmert & Company. “As someone who believes in supporting our local youth, it means a lot to be part of something that helps students grow and succeed right here in our community.”
Tuscaloosa County High also continues to benefit from the ongoing support of Shelton State Community College, strengthening the network of partners committed to student growth and success.
