Rumsey Environmental Wins 35th Annual Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa Adopt-A-School Golf Tournament

The Rumsey Environmental team earned top honors at the 35th Annual Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa Adopt-A-School Golf Tournament, claiming 1st Place Net and the title of overall tournament winner. With their victory, the team won $500 for their designated school, Hillcrest High School.
As part of the tournament’s tradition of supporting education, several schools also received special awards. Verner Elementary earned $500 for having the most golfers representing an elementary school, while Echols Middle took home $500 for the most golfers representing a secondary school. In addition, Hale County College & Career Academy won the random drawing for $500.
