The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama Names Carl Jamison Interim President and CEO

The Board of Directors of The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama is pleased to announce that Carl Jamison has agreed to serve as Interim President and CEO, replacing Kyle South, effective November 1, 2026. Mr. Jamison’s appointment was approved today by The Chamber’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Jamison is an accountant with JamisonMoneyFarmer PC in Tuscaloosa. He has served on various state and local boards, including the DCH Healthcare Authority, DCH Foundation, Tuscaloosa County Economic Development Authority, Business Council of Alabama, and the Alabama State Port Authority. He served as Chairman of The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama in 2025 and is currently its Immediate Past Chairman and a member of its Executive Committee.
In this role, Mr. Jamison will oversee the day-to-day activities of The Chamber while assisting in the search for the next President and CEO.
