UA Alumni Exhibit at Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center

An exhibit of works by University of Alabama master of fine arts alumni will be featured in The Arts Council and The University of Alabama Galleries at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center Aug. 3-Sept. 28, 2018. The Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center is located at 620 Greensboro Avenue in Downtown Tuscaloosa. The displays will be featured during First Friday events on both Aug. 3 and Sept. 7 from 5-8 p.m. with an artist reception held on Sept. 7.
MFA graduates Clayton Colvin, James Davis, Claire Lewis Evans, Amy Feger, Darius Hill, Barbara Kilgore, Meredith Knight, April Livingston, Joe McCreary, Lisa Marie Michitti, Andy Pruett, Aynslee Moon Smithee, Astri Snodgrass, Anna Katherine Vinson, Stephen Watson, Tom Wegrzynowski, Turner Williams and Kelsey Windham will exhibit recent works in a wide variety of media including sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, digital media and more. The exhibition is coordinated by MFA alumna Anne Herbert and sponsored by the UA College of Arts and Sciences and The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-noon and 1 - 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon-8 p.m. on First Fridays. Admission is free.
