Kimonia Hamilton

Kimonia joined the Chamber staff in September 2024.
Originally from the Caribbean, Kimonia migrated to the United States in July 2014 and has made Tuscaloosa, Alabama, her home—“Roll Tide!” She holds a Bachelor of Education in Business and Computer Studies from the University of Technology in Kingston, Jamaica, and brings extensive experience in instructional training, curriculum development, classroom management, and workforce development. While at HEART Trust/NTA in Jamaica, she successfully trained individuals from volatile communities, helping them transition into the workforce and pursue higher education.
Kimonia also earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University, equipping her with experience in care management and healthcare leadership. She embraces the core principles of servant leadership and advocates for the holistic development of every individual.
In her free time, Kimonia enjoys spending time in Jamaica, immersing herself in its rich culinary culture, dancing to the music, relaxing on beautiful beaches, and connecting with fellow Jamaicans.
