Margaret Babin

Executive Assistant to the President & CEO

Margaret has been a member of the Chamber's staff since October 2024

Her responsibilities include maintaining the Chamber facility, conducting and planning Executive Committee and Board of Director meetings each month, overseeing the tenants in the Chamber's facility, providing administrative support, assisting with the setup of Chamber events, handling bookings for the rentable meeting rooms in the Chamber's facility, and planning and overseeing the Chamber's monthly Smart Series Trainings.

Margaret is a Tuscaloosa native. She graduated from The University of Alabama with her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management, Meetings and Event Planning in 2021. In addition to obtaining her undergraduate degree, she earned her Master’s degree from The University of Alabama concentrating in Meetings and Event Planning in 2022. Before joining the team, Margaret worked for a local home remodeling company as the Studio Coordinator and Design Assistant.
