Shelby joined The Chamber in June 2023 and oversees all marketing and communications efforts outside of workforce development.

She leads strategy and execution for a wide range of initiatives, including branding, digital content, media relations, design, and publications. Shelby also manages the Chamber’s website, social media, email marketing, and visual storytelling through photography and video.

Before joining The Chamber, Shelby worked for the City of Tuscaloosa as a Graphic Design Intern in the Strategic Communications office. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Alabama in 2022, majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications: Graphic Design, and completed her master's in IMC the following year.

A native of Sumter County, Shelby grew up in Belmont and attended Demopolis City Schools. Shelby also has over seven years of experience working events and weddings at Mimosa Ridge Wedding Chapel in her hometown.
