Shelby joined the Chamber staff in June 2023.

Shelby manages all aspects of the Chamber’s marketing and communications efforts. Her responsibilities include website management, social media, graphic design, press releases, media relations, branding, copywriting, videography, photography, publications, advertising, content creation, and email marketing.

Before joining the Chamber team, Shelby worked for the City of Tuscaloosa as a Graphic Design Intern in the Strategic Communications office. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Alabama in 2022, majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications: Graphic Design, and completed her master's in IMC the following year.

Shelby is a Sumter County, Alabama native, having grown up in the small town of Belmont. Prior to college, she attended Demopolis City Schools. Shelby also has over seven years of experience working events and weddings at Mimosa Ridge Wedding Chapel in her hometown.
