Modern Manufacturing Project Manager - CENTRAL, Workforce Development
Terry Nicholas, a Cullman native and graduate of Fairview High School, has built a distinguished career in education, athletics, and workforce development. He began his academic and athletic journey at Wallace State Community College–Hanceville, where he played baseball and earned an associate degree in 1993. He continued his education and athletic pursuits at Faulkner University in Montgomery, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in 1996.
Terry dedicated over 25 years to Elmore County Public Schools, serving as a teacher, coach, and eventually Athletic Director at Elmore County High School from 2015 until his retirement in January 2022. Throughout his career, he primarily taught high school seniors in subjects such as Economics, Political Science, and Career Preparation.
Following his retirement from education, Terry served as Grounds Operation Supervisor at Wind Creek Wetumpka with Poarch Creek Gaming. In February 2024, he assumed the role of Central Alabama Modern Manufacturing Project Manager, where he continues his commitment to preparing the next generation for success.
Terry resides in Elmore County with his wife, Cindy, and their two children, Hutch and Gracie.
